A “cohort” is a group of individuals who begin something together and journey and learn together—resulting in a shared experience.

  • The Ensemble cohort is a seasonal, four-month program (occurring August to December or January to May). There are three participating congregations per cohort; 15 people total.

Ensemble

Ensemble—Cohort Details:

4 months (seasonal: August to December; January to May)

• 3 Congregations (15 people total)

  • Each Congregational Project Team will have

    • 1 Project Leader

    • 2 Adults

    • 2 Youth (Youth are generally described as middle schoolers)

• 1 Facilitator

  • A Sun-Walking Facilitator will lead the monthly Check In Meetings. The Teams will meet the facilitator during the orientation.

• 3 consultants

  • Sun-Walking will connect your team with a consultant that whose talent aligns with your team’s project.

• 1-day introductory meeting (dinner to dinner or noon to noon). Alk expenses to attend are provided by the Sun-Walking Fellowship Grant outside of your congregation’s award.

• Seasonal project (3 months) funds available upon acceptance $2500

• May festival participation

• Monthly Check-ins with facilitator

• Eligibility: new or under-resourced groups
